Africa Listed Private Equity: fund will have as overarching investment strategy to invest in IPO/Companies listed on the African Stock Exchanges, which posses the attributes of Private Equity transaction. Such targeted companies that are IPO/Listed have the following attributes which will make them a target:

The company is trading at substantially lower than their NAV (net asset value)

The company, although listed has clear attributes of being a “Private Company” with low trading volume; unable to raise capital on the stock exchange, and hence a Private Equity Styled transaction, i.e. significant minority or buyout, with investors rights attached to this which are generally available to the market, are part of the transaction. We’ll further participate on the Board and other steering committees to restructure the Company as required
